Baystone Financial Group is an approved Ohio State Term Schedule (STS) finance dealer for municipalities in Ohio. Lease purchase financing through the Ohio STS provides a legal “waiver of bidding”, thereby eliminating the time and cost of traditional bidding processes.
Baystone is able to provide financing for several types of equipment which include fire trucks, ambulances, breathing apparatus, construction equipment, police vehicles, computers, copiers, road maintenance equipment, phone systems, and many other types of equipment.
Baystone has completed the mandatory training class for approval with Ohio STS. To add Baystone Financial Group as the finance dealer on your contract requires the completion of the Contractor Authorizing Dealer (X-Letter) and the Master Finance Agreement (MFA).
Ohio State Term Schedule is a cooperative purchasing program available to select municipalities in Ohio. Created by the Cooperative Purchasing ACT of 1985, this voluntary program’s membership has increased from 515 members in 1991 to more than 1,700 members to date. The cooperative’s members are comprised of counties, townships, municipalities, fire districts, school districts, public libraries, regional transit authorities, park districts, and other authorities throughout the state.
Ohio STS strives to make the government procurement process more efficient. Members are empowered to buy goods and services at state-discounted prices using approved state government contractors. Becoming an Ohio STS member is quick, easy and inexpensive.
